Biography

2024-present: Professor Agregat (Associate Professor), at the University of Barcelona.

2020-2024: “Ramón y Cajal” Research Fellow, at the University of Barcelona. Funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

2018-2019: “Beatriu de Pinós” Research Fellow, at the University of Barcelona. Funded by the Beatriu de Pinós programme (EU Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Cofund and Catalan Government).

2014-2019: Lecturer in Geology and Petroleum Geology, at the University of Aberdeen.

2010-2014: Postdoctoral research fellow (Jan 2010 – June 2014), as well as Privatdozent (Jan 2014 – June 2014), at the University of Tübingen. Funded by DGMK – Deutsche Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Erdöl, Erdgas und Kohle (German Society for Petroleum and Coal Science and Technology), ExxonMobil Production Germany, GDF SUEZ E&P Germany, RWE Dea AG and Wintershall.
